Where to stay in Naples

Where to stay in Naples

Naples has a wide range of accommodation: find the perfect district for you and book hotels, hostels and apartments at the best possible price.

Best areas to stay

If budget isn't an issue for you, the best district to look for accommodation in Naples is the Centro Storico, or "historic center". Just a few steps from your hotel door, you'll be surrounded by Naples' main places of interest as well as countless bars and restaurants - although this means it can also be noisy and crowded.

Within walking distance of the Centro Storico, the Toledo and Quartieri Spagnoli are home to some cheaper hotels and B&Bs. Further away, but easily reached by public transport, are Capodimonte (home to the Capodimonte Museum) to the north and Santa Lucía and Chiaia, located to the south by the seafront.

Hotels in Naples

As everywhere, if you search for your accommodation in advance, you can often find good deals, with double rooms in the city center from 45 (US$ 47.40) per night. However, bear in mind that during high season, over weekends, and at short notice, prices will increase significantly.
